With the recent release of the Playstation 4, the console war between the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 have begun. One would argue that the Nintendo Wii U is also in the race for number one, but let’s be serious, they released their system and with the declining sales along with a price drop, things aren’t looking too good. The Playstation 4’s release seems to be seemless so far. There’s very few complaints of faulty systems and the supply of PS4 consoles seem to be plentiful. That isn’t stopping entrepreneurs from attempting to charge $1000 for a PS4 bundle on Ebay. I’d advise my fans of EndgameTV to choose the less expensive route of heading to Best Buy and buying one off the shelf.
In what seems like a mafia tactic of wishing the best to your enemy before going to war with them, Xbox tweeted this out this morning.
The Xbox One will be released on November 22, 2013 and I’m on the hunt for one. In the meantime, there will still be retro reviews from my favorite consoles of the past, SNES, NES and Genesis on the site. I’ll also include some Xbox 360 videos until I upgrade.
Trion Worlds, makers of the games Defiance and Rift, have announced an ambitious free to play game called Trove. It’s going to have the same “destroy and build” concept of Minecraft with a mix of RPG tossed in. I’ll admit I’m intrigued by this game and I want to beta test it. Check the video below.
The game looks great, it’s like Minecraft on steroids. While not much was given in the trailer, I have high hopes for this game. The community involvement they promised and commitment to a long replay ability could make this a Steam darling in no time. Here’s hoping they allow me to beta test.
Follow the game’s official twitter account for more details.
I recently upgrade the video editing software I’ve been using for the videos and I should have a headset mic by next week. Stay classy gamers. – Kevo
